MimeLondon is a new curatorial project created by Helen Lannaghan and Joseph Seelig, the directors of London International Mime Festival (LIMF), which ended in 2023 after five decades of award-winning success.

Next month, the New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA) opens the first major retrospective of photographer Debbie Fleming Caffery, with black-and-white prints ranging from the 1970s to the present. Debbie Fleming Caffery: In Light of Everything is the first exhibition to include examples representative of her entire body of work, including photographs taken throughout Louisiana and Mississippi, Mexico, and France over six decades.

The High Museum of Art today announced scholar, art historian and curator Adrienne L. Childs as the 2022 recipient of the David C. Driskell Prize in recognition of her contributions to the field of African American art. Awarded annually by the Museum since 2005, the prize demonstrates the High's ongoing dedication to furthering artistic innovation and promoting research of African American artists and scholars.

Leslie Sacks Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of California-based sculptor, Jon Krawczyk and his recent vibrant geometric stainless-steel sculptures. The exhibition will present a range of work from large-scale gem-like sculptures at 5-8 feet tall and smaller to mid-scale works.   For the past fifteen years, Jon Krawczyk has worked in fluid, biomorphic sculptural forms of stainless steel and bronze. Polished stainless steel evokes the likeness of liquid and the twists of metal illicit stunning reflections.

This fall, the Zimmerli Art Museum at Rutgers hosts the nationally touring exhibition that explores Dimensionism, an artistic movement, tracing the influence of early 20th-century scientific discoveries on some of the era's most celebrated artists.

International visual artist, Margrit Newman, is pleased to announce her solo art exhibition, which will include 50 select pieces of her work that Newman created over the past 50 years. The exhibition will open on Thursday, May 9, 2019, and continue through Saturday, May 18, 2019, at One Art Space at 23 Warren Street, New York, NY. Born in Switzerland, Newman has spent her life traveling the world and residing at various periods of her life in Switzerland, France, New York City and Argentina. Her worldly experiences over the last five decades have served as inspiration for her new eclectic collection, whose themes include: miniature boxes, musical composition paintings, voodoo, and plant boxes and acrylic paintings with photos incorporated.
