This is triply true for Vanessa, a trans woman who wakes up one cold December morning inexplicably in her third trimester. As Christmas approaches, Vanessa, aided by her friends and beloved character actor Danny DeVito, must grapple with what it means to birth a miracle baby unto this world like a certain virgin two millennia before. Alanna Slaw Kiewe directs this staged reading.
