Josh Sharpe is the Entertainment Editor for BroadwayWorld. For as long as he can remember, he has been in love with movies and the people who make them. This passion for great storytelling has been the driving force of his career journey.

An entertainment journalist since 2018, he has extensively covered the film and television industry, with bylines in Paste Magazine, TheaterMania, Collider, and The DisInsider. Across these platforms, he has produced numerous interviews, reviews, and news pieces, with a particular emphasis on The Walt Disney Company. During this time, he has had the privilege of interviewing such creatives as Hayley Mills, Jodi Benson, and Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman.

A graduate of Western Washington University, he studied Theatre and has since dabbled in directing. He has also appeared onstage in musicals like Into the Woods as The Baker and The Fantasticks as Matt.

STARZ continues to round out the cast for “Outlander: Blood of My Blood,” announcing additional casting for several roles in the highly anticipated prequel series. The series will center on two parallel love stories set in two different time periods, with Jamie’s parents in the early 18th century Scottish Highlands and Claire’s parents in WWI England. Production on the 10-episode season is underway in Scotland.
