San Francisco-based, Irish songwriter Shane Culloty, aka Winter Aid, has released his sophomore full-length album, Pull The Sky Inside. The 15-song collection, produced with Larry Crane (Elliott Smith, The Decemberists) and Chuck Johnson (Daniel Bachman, Claire Rousay), finds Culloty stretching the extremities as to what is sonically expected from a collection of Winter Aid songs, weaving in electronic sonic strands and new percussive elements. During the interview, he revealed that his wife, Olivia Modling, is interested in pursuing a musical adaptation of Forte's iconic SNL sketch MacGruber, which later spun off into a feature film and a Peacock series. The Allman Betts Band kicked off their King Crawler Tour last night in Charleston, SC, the band’s first tour in three years. The tour kickoff show did not disappoint.  The band played several originals as well as some Allman Brothers classics. The band also officially welcomed Alex Orbison (son of the legendary Roy Orbison) as their new drummer/percussionist replacing the highly respected and beloved R. Scott Bryan, Allman Betts Band Founding member who passed away in December 2023.
